From a man that possesses many musical mastery talents comes a debut album which incorporates almost 30 years of experience playing with some of middle America's most formidable bands, now it's time for Mark Hoevet's "Keys To The Journey" album to shine through as his personal storm of pain is over and the new solo journey begins. Backed by the album's Executive Producer, Mark A. Forrest who has put the wheels in motion for major distribution, radio promotions worldwide and mass media recognition with album reviews written by some the best in the music industry, Hoevet stands a good chance at reaching his highest expectations ever with this new work of seventeen songs that hardly no words can really accurately describe.
The most important thing about this album is the lessons learned about what positive energies can transpire when a unique group of friendships get together as a team and between all of them something wonderful emerges into a great piece of melodic artistry. Involved in this Mark Hoevet project is super producer Michael Jon Hartman, the self acclaimed "Master of the Digital Universe" which also happens to be the albums video title track directed and produced by Shade Law and Jodie Floss of A Striking Concept Video Production National Geographic Library. Michael Jon and Mark have been playing music together since the late seventies and they have a magical sync about them that just flows perfectly throughout the disc, "Lost Along The Way" is one of the tracks that decisively demonstrates these qualities between the two talents.
Other collaborations of the album include Kent and Alex Theesen, a father and son duo that co-wrote and play bass guitar licks on the track "No Money Blues" with vocals also performed by ex-FBI lead singer David L. Vacek. Another song, "Whatever Happened To Our Love" off the new CD has Michael Jon Hartman's tasty guitar additives and back up vocals which brought this song to a new level, an outstanding killer groove, tasty, funky, and a Steely Dan vibe with the brass...with the awesome guitar and keys. Stellar songwriting , production, vocals, and musicianship. One review I've found shared by musician Larry Talbot says it all: "This pulled me in from the first...lush pad. You've shared your soul....and emotional feelings with this. Another beautifully produced, performed, and delivered song. Stunning vocals and harmonies...bro. Thx for sharing this one..!"

Mark Hoevet is a musician, writer, keyboardist from Central Nebraska that has been writing for many years and until the early 90's played for over 20 years in the central USA. He has many influences in the music he writes, too numerous to mention but he leans somewhat toward the electronic/rock genre and he writes music for Film, TV and various other projects. Being in such a remote area that he is in, it limits the musicians that he can collaborate with and exchange ideas with. After many years (and the fun years they were) and the many bands he has played with, he is content with writing, recording, and producing his own music and developing a versatile style with a sound that is all his own. Having a broad range of music interests and heroes, such as Keith Emerson of ELP and Rick Wakeman with YES. He likes anything done brilliantly and appreciates the many different artists and talented bands out there. Mark is not zeroed in on listening to or writing in any one particular genre of music. Mark uses a Korg Triton keyboard and Yamaha MO8 and his music is recorded at his 32track studio which is a pretty basic set up by today's standards, this is where all of his writing, arrangements, and playing take place. He is sure there will be something you will like generated from this special place of musical endeavors.
